McLaughlin, Member, manages affiliated partnerships of Antioch Energy LLC on the acquisition, development, and operations of oil  and gas working interests in Texas.  Mr. McLaughlin is a Member and Manager of McLaughlin Merchant Partners LLC, a mergers & acquisitions advisory firm.  Prior to joining McLaughlin Merchant Partners LLC, and its predecessor, he was an account executive with The Principal/Eppler, Guerin, & Turner , Inc. (Member Firm NYSE). Before joining The Principal/Eppler, Guerin, & Turner, Mr. McLaughlin was employed by Schlumberger Sedco Forex Drilling as a rig/drilling engineer in Aberdeen, Scotland, and in the North Sea. Prior to formally organizing McLaughlin Merchant Partners LLC in 2000, he managed its predecessor firm in mergers & acquisitions matters and business operational matters since 1978 for clients in technology, real estate development, restaurants, hotels, automobile leasing, oil & gas, and other ventures. He started his career with Hunt Oil Company upon graduation from law school.
